Allen Robinson might be on the move after what he did on social media.
After Mitchell Trubisky led the Chicago Bears to a rousing fourth-quarter comeback against the Detroit Lions, it seems as if everything should be rosy in the Windy City. Unfortunately, wide receiver Allen Robinson, in search of a new deal, might not stick around for the long haul in Chicago, as he scrubbed anything related to the Bears from his social media accounts.
Robinson’s numbers from his days with the Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars might not look like elite production, but poor quarterback play has robbed him of truly elite stats. With one of these four teams, he could finally take off and confirm his elite stats.
These four teams need to consider trading for Allen Robinson
The Dolphins are still a year or two away from competing for a division title, but the pieces are all there. Tua Tagovailoa, when his time comes, has the look of a franchise quarterback, while DeVante Parker proved that he can be a quality wideout when freed from the constraints of Adam Gase. Still, as their Week 1 game against New England proved, the offense needs to improve.
Robinson, who could be had for a few of Miami’s armada of draft picks, would instantly assume No. 1 wide receiver duties from Parker, giving Tagovailoa and Ryan Fitzpatrick one of the best 1-2 punches at wide receiver in the league. Robinson will need to buy into what Miami is trying to build, and that might be a very tall undertaking for him, but if he shows up in Miami ready to dominate, the Dolphins might return to the postseason sooner rather than later.
